About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Banking Driver in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming experience for all visitors and employees. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Maintain detailed logs of access control activities and report any irregularities or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or site supervision.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and guidance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Support emergency response activities at the location, coordinating with site personnel and first responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter areas to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any hazards or maintenance needs.
