As an ACCESS_CONTROL professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and managing access at an automotive location. You will conduct routine patrols in assigned areas, remain visible to create a welcoming atmosphere, and deliver exceptional customer service while assisting employees and visitors. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Assist in managing access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, consistent with site-specific policies for the automotive industry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a security-related presence at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support overall security-related objectives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders when necessary.
