As a Security Officer Access Ambassador in Spartanburg, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor entry points, gates, and/or designated access areas to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to security-related activities, policy violations, and/or operational concerns observed during the shift.
