About The Position

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual behavior and report any security-related incidents or hazards according to established protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with campus staff, students, and/or visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies.
Assist in access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as appropriate for the location.
