As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational facilities, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, engage with students, staff, and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position allows you to play a vital role in fostering a secure and supportive environment while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and caring.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of the location and established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established procedures.
Assist students, faculty, and visitors with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions.
Collaborate with campus staff and/or local authorities during emergencies or incidents as directed by Allied Universal policies.
Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
