About The Position

The Security Officer position involves providing security and protection to individuals and property at Baptist Health Paducah and associated buildings. The role requires monitoring and reporting any misuse of hospital facilities, equipment, and supplies. The officer will work from 6 AM to 6 PM on the first shift, full-time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Kentucky Driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years' experience in the field of Law Enforcement, Security, Military and/or Corrections.

Responsibilities

• Investigates all incidents involving criminal matters, completes incident reports, and reports such matters to the proper authority.
• Required to subdue and/or de-escalate high stress, tense situations involving combative persons for an unknown period of time.
• Enforce or assist in the enforcement of hospital policies and procedures, as directed by administration, in a manner that will protect the legal rights of the hospital and the person involved.
