About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community by enforcing rules and regulations, monitoring access, and providing assistance during emergencies. This role requires vigilance and effective communication to maintain a secure environment for residents and visitors.

Requirements

  • Security 'D' License
  • Good communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience as a Security Guard

Responsibilities

  • Ensure security to all buildings and property within the community during your assigned shift.
  • Enforce Association rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance by all parties.
  • Properly log-in and oversee all guests, vendors, movers, etc., entering the property.
  • Provide thorough, neat, and concise written reports for all occurrences within the property.
  • Assist all residents and emergency personnel in the event of an emergency.
  • Report all hazardous and unsafe conditions immediately to your superior officer for immediate attention.
  • Carry out any and all assignments issued by Chief of Security or Management.
  • Ensure that the guardhouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
