Performs a variety of duties to provide assistance and information to all patients, visitors and staff. Enforce hospital policies and procedures to provide a safe, secure environment, in support of the hospital Security Program. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS IF PRIOR TO MAY 1, 2022: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Valid Driver’s License – Must be maintained during employment period. 2. Obtain certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire date. 3. Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check. EXPERIENCE: 1. One (1) year of experience in the Security field. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS IF AFTER TO MAY 1, 2022: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School diploma or equivalent AND one (1) year of experience in the Security field OR Associate’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, forensics, law or related field of study 2. Valid Driver’s License – Must be maintained during employment period. 3. Obtain certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire date. 4. Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. One (1) year of experience in the Security field.
