About The Position

The Security Officer at Western & Southern Financial Group is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for associates by protecting company assets and controlling access to property. This role involves monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding to alarms, all while maintaining a vigilant presence on-site during the 2 PM to 10 PM shift.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
• 5 years of experience in a military or law enforcement role.
• 11+ years of experience in security or related fields.
• 3 years of experience in CCTV monitoring.
• 8 years of experience in patrolling and security duties.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with emergency response procedures.
• Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarm and access control systems, responding to signals as per established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols inside and around the perimeter of the property.
• Control access to company property and ensure a safe environment for associates.
• Monitor CCTV and radio communications, responding to incidents as necessary.
• Remain vigilant and observant while stationed at posts in lobbies and service areas.
