About The Position

The position involves duties such as foot and vehicle patrols of multiple buildings to ensure the safety and security of MillerKnoll associates, guests, and property against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other hazards. The officer will function as a liaison between MillerKnoll and outside agencies, including law enforcement and fire departments. Officers will also investigate and report suspicious or unusual occurrences, assist in hazardous response, and provide first aid.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Work experience demonstrating performance competency.
• Prior public safety, military, or security officer-related job experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• First aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to certify within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assume incident command for medicals, fires, and other emergencies.
• Multi-task in a high-paced environment.

• Enforce MillerKnoll policies and procedures effectively and tactfully.
• Monitor, operate, and test various computerized and electronic equipment used in access control, fire, and security systems.
• Prepare reports, activity logs, and communicate information as needed.
• Protect sensitive company and team member information.
• Respond to medicals, fires, and other site emergencies.
• Work in a team environment while completing projects as requested.
