About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Professional Residential Security Officer (unarmed) for both part-time and full-time positions. The company has over 40 years of experience in the security industry and is committed to delivering exceptional security services to clients across the United States. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing security services at assigned locations, focusing on observing and reporting activities. This role includes conducting foot, vehicular, golf cart, and bicycle patrols, reporting suspicious activities, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug/alcohol test where required.
  • Current state driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation to work.
  • Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Energetic and focused personality with initiative and ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Professional and articulate with good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
  • Conduct walking, vehicular, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols of assigned areas.
  • Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, and emergency situations.
  • Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and lobby security.
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity reports (DAR's).
  • Know and implement site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain acceptable attendance and grooming standards.
  • Participate in all required orientation and training programs.
  • Respond to incidents during shifts in accordance with Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy.
  • Conduct security or support functions as directed by supervisors.
