Requirements

  • Active FL D & G license.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in security, reception, or customer service roles strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proficient in computers and technical skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform basic physical duties if needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, shifts, holidays, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register all visitors, vendors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor access control systems and issue visitor badges in accordance with company policy.
  • Enforce building security protocols, including sign-in/out procedures, prohibited items, and badge requirements.
  • Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems, reporting any suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to emergencies and escalate incidents according to established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident reports.
  • Support security operations during special events or emergency drills.
  • Coordinate with building management, security officers, and internal teams as necessary.
  • Ensure the reception area is neat, secure, and presentable at all times.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Provide administrative support to the security team as needed.
  • Conduct Mail screening in accordance with training and established SOP’s
