About The Position

Catholic Charities is looking for the right people; people who wish to serve their community as a part of a family friendly organization doing good within the Houston-Galveston area. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees. People of all faiths helping people in need. The Youth Care Worker/Security Monitor will be maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and property. This position is responsible for controlling facility access, actively monitoring premises through surveillance systems and physical patrols, and promptly reporting any safety or security concerns to Shift Lead. The Security Monitor also assists in incident investigations by providing basic technical support and retrieving surveillance footage as needed. This role requires strong situational awareness, discretion, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols in alignment with trauma-informed care practices. The Youth Care Worker/Security Monitor position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and may be placed on-call based on operational needs. The Security Monitor must be available to respond to emergencies or critical incidents outside of regularly scheduled hours.
