BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional technical manager/leader for a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) as an Installation SATAF Site Security Manager (SSM); ICD-705 Lead Manager. The Sentinel Program (formerly GBSD) is an enormous and complex “Mega-Project” modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. It includes a complete refurbishment or replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly-designed, technologically-advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system (including an updated airborne launch capability) as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. dollars of new construction and facility renovation projects. This position will directly support the AFGSC A10 Directorate. Duties will include: directing and oversight of security operations to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manuals 5205 series to include JSIG, DoD manuals, AFI’s, along with all other applicable federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles. Support program/project managers, and weapon system subject matter experts as they provide professional advice and support to AFGSC, Sentinel SPO and ICBM Wing leaders on all ICBM deployment, security, civil engineering and command & control aspects throughout all the deployment phases.
