The Security Manager oversees physical security operations across 90 Community Mental Health locations throughout metropolitan Chicago. This role is responsible for safeguarding staff, clients, and property by implementing and monitoring security protocols, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring incident response aligns with all applicable laws and regulations. Reporting to the Vice President of Facilities and Fleet Operations, the Security Manager collaborates closely with IT, Legal, and Real Estate teams to maintain a secure and compliant environment. To Succeed in this role, you'll need to: Establish and maintain security baseline standards for all community mental health facilities. Monitor and maintain access control systems, including cameras, alarms, and key management. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Coordinate with security vendors and contracted personnel. Respond to and document security incidents; lead investigations and resolutions. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state/local safety regulations. Develop and manage security-related procurement processes. Provide staff training on security measures and technology systems. Prepare annual assessments and progress reports on security initiatives.
