About The Position

JST is currently seeking a Security Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. As an Operating Group Security Manager in the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) you will help empower the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. You will serve a s a member of a team providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats. You will serve as the Industrial Security subject matter expert and support the Program Manager in contract execution.

Requirements

5 Yrs. Relevant experience.
BA/BS technical degree in a related field.
Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Excellent knowledge of DoD and Military security regulations, policy, and procedures.
Prior experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail.
MUST have an active TS/SCI security clearance
MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

Certification such Facility Manager Credential or industry equivalent.
Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

Responsibilities

Providing administrative processing of contractor personnel and contractor access to Defense Information System for Security (DISS) (formerly known as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)).
Developing and submitting contractor facility and equipment security accreditation packages.
Participating in contractor security‐related assessments and evaluations.
Reviewing, tracking, and monitoring contractor security clearance processing activities with appropriate Government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions.
Advising contractor staff on proper document profiling and customization, markings, and dissemination, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) procedures.
