The Security Manager plays the critical role of leading a team of Security Officers who are tasked with protecting objects on display and maintaining order in their assigned galleries or those assigned to maintain order, reduce injury, assist visitors, and reduce property loss at the Museum. The Security Manager reports directly to the Assistant Head of Security Operations (AHSO) and is responsible for providing day-to-day operational leadership to a team of security officers. As the first level of management, the Security Manager is the face of the department to guests, volunteers, and staff. In this role, you will oversee teams of security officers who are responsible for ensuring both the physical security of the facilities and its assets, as well as the safety of all occupants the protection of Museum gallery spaces, the objects therein and the safety of all occupants by observing, reporting, and responding to activities within their assigned galleries.
