About The Position
The International Support Division (ISD) of the Church Security Department (CSD) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of ISD Manager. This role is critical in managing all aspects of security in assigned international areas of the Church. The selected individual will work closely with various Church departments, area leaders, and outside organizations to analyze and respond to security concerns effectively. The position requires a proactive approach to security management, ensuring that the Church's operations are safeguarded in diverse geopolitical environments. The ISD Manager will be responsible for training and managing in-country Area Security Managers, establishing robust partnerships with U.S. and foreign police, Church leaders, diplomatic personnel, and private sector partners. A deep understanding of geopolitical, socioeconomic, and safety concerns in the assigned areas is essential. The role also involves preparing written documents such as analysis articles and memoranda for senior Church leadership and clients, as well as analyzing trends through open-source information and regular contact with area personnel. Additionally, the ISD Manager will conduct security advances and travel with Church leaders, ensuring adherence to established training and procedures. This position is not only about managing security but also about fostering relationships and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders, including CSD, other departments, and customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, all while maintaining a professional demeanor and interpersonal skills that build trust within the Church community.
