Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Security and/or Law Enforcement
• 1+ years experience in Supervisory role
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Automotive/auction experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Security Department, including training, staffing, performance engagement, scheduling, and promote a positive work environment across all teams.
• Conduct and play a key role in security investigations in coordination with auction management and local law enforcement personnel.
• Regularly assess internal processes to deter theft from property, conduct foot patrols of property interior and exterior and conduct searches on incoming and outgoing vehicles and persons.
• Identify and recommend sound, viable opportunities to improve security of assets.
• Proactively communicate with direct reports, leadership, and internal/external customers.
• Develop partnerships with leaders, vendors, customers, and other key business partners to support overall business initiatives.
• Support auction management to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal safety standards and ensure that company policies and procedures comply.
• Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise the General Manager or designee of all serious complaints or incidences.
