About The Position

Policy & Information Management Implement, enforce, and update DoD, USAF, MAJCOM, and Center security policies and procedures, including local SOPs, to effectively apply security regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of security plans and continuous monitoring programs. Review, process, classify, declassify, and safeguard inbound/outbound documents and data (up to Top Secret), ensuring proper marking, handling, and destruction. Maintain a comprehensive document accountability system, perform inventories, process transmittal receipts, and manage the secure transfer/storage of electronic data, ensuring media sanitization. Understand, enforce, and apply Information Security and Operations Security (OPSEC) principles. Personnel & Physical Security Manage and administer facility access control systems, including badges, visitor escorts, and visit requests, while verifying clearances and need-to-know. Maintain personnel security files, assist with clearance processing and reinvestigations, monitor clearance status, and facilitate SAP Nomination Questionnaires. Recognize, report, and participate in the organization's insider threat program. Implement, monitor, and maintain physical security measures, including alarms and surveillance equipment. Risk, Incident & Emergency Management Identify, assess, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Respond to security incidents, conduct preliminary investigations, assist with corrective actions, and participate in damage assessments. Support internal and external security inspections and audits, assist with responses, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Participate in emergency response drills and implement emergency procedures. Training & Communication Develop and deliver impactful security awareness training, provide refresher training, and create awareness materials. Communicate security information clearly and effectively. Collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization. Systems & Technology Utilize, administer, and troubleshoot various security systems and software, including access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance.
