Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Serve as the face of the building—warmly greeting employees, clients, and visitors while creating a professional, welcoming environment that reflects the client’s brand.
  • Manage access control and visitor experience by verifying identification, issue badges, register guests, and coordinate escorts—balancing a seamless guest experience with strict adherence to security protocols.
  • Handle inquiries, give directions, assist with requests, and support workplace needs (e.g., wayfinding, basic admin, coordinating services) while maintaining a polished, service-first approach.
  • Monitor lobby activity, enforce policies, respond to incidents or emergencies, and escalate issues appropriately while remaining calm and professional.
  • Keep the lobby organized and presentable, manage communications (calls, deliveries, reports), and coordinate with building teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
