We’re looking for a Security Lead to join our Corporate Security team to help protect Collector’s personnel, property, and profits through detection, deterrence, and denial of unauthorized individuals, all while maintaining a secure environment and preserving the integrity of the company’s facilities and reputation within a 24/7 security environment. Our Security vigilance protects Collectors from exposure, damage to reputation and theft . You’ll report to the Sr. Security Supervisor and work from our Plano, TX office. Onsite Requirement: This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Valid Non-Commissioned Security Officer License (Level II) is required
  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • At least 3 years of security experience required, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • You have prior experience serving as a Security Lead or Supervisor, with a proven ability to guide teams, delegate responsibilities, and uphold security protocols under pressure.
  • You are able to clearly communicate with a variety of individuals, both written and verbal.
  • You are able to analyze and use logic and reasoning to understand how a problem should be approached.
  • You are attentive to the reactions of others, reading body language well.
  • You have basic knowledge of Google Suite programs.
  • You have great active listening skills, foster trusting interpersonal relationships and you work well with others.
  • Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
  • Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery.
  • Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches.
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75+ pounds, with employee help or with proper equipment.
  • Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity.
  • Walking: Ability to walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
  • Serve as the lead security contact, providing operational support and coordination for the team
  • Oversee daily operations, including shift coverage, incident response coordination, and communication with management
  • Support training efforts, ensuring team members understand and follow SOPs, site-specific protocols, and compliance standards
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  • Contribute to security team’s effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned
  • Make timely decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
