Shell Point is seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Lead Officer to join our team. As a Security Lead Officer, you will oversee shift operations, lead and train security staff, respond to emergencies, and handle critical incidents with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership security role
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) FEMA Certifications: ICS 100 & 200
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response, and safety procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train and guide team members effectively
• Proficiency in writing reports and documenting incidents
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be willing to cover shifts on short notice and participate in rotating on-call schedule
• Physically able to assist in resident evacuation and respond to emergency situations

Responsibilities

• Shift Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned security officers, ensuring adherence to post orders and community policies.
• Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new and existing security officers.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical, fire, and security-related emergencies.
• Investigations & Reporting: Conduct major incident investigations and ensure accurate and timely completion of reports and logs.
• Performance Management: Provide corrective guidance, conduct performance reviews, and document officer performance.
• General Security Duties: Support guardhouse operations, patrol responsibilities, and assist officers on calls as needed.
• Administrative Duties: Oversee key duplication, supply and inventory checks, and vehicle inspections.
