About The Position

The Security Lead Officer provides guidance and resources for the Security Department under the direction of the Security Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 1 year of casino industry experience preferred. Excellent Guest Service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and act upon documents and reports necessary.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to effectively use a computer as well as various software including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Follows and ensures team members in Security follow all company policy and procedures which maintain the security of the Team Members, Guest, Vendors, company funds and physical property.
  • Responsible as the acting Supervisor in the absence of department leadership.   Ensures daily operations and tasks are maintained in an appropriate manner and reports any issues or concerns to supervision.
  • Ensures accurate completion of written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, team members,  and/or the facility. Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of records and reports.
  • Escorts and observes guests and employees, to ensure their safety and protection; identifies potential safety hazards and reports to the appropriate individual, for proper resolution.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the company’s facilities, as well as special events on property.
  • Interacts with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.
  • Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
  • Accepts identification as necessary to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be able to work the required work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with team members, vendors and guests.
  • Ensures all safety standards are met and possible safety hazards are quickly resolved.
  • Responds to common inquiries or complaints from guests and resolves complaints in a timely and positive manner.
