About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: Conduct daily debriefing with team members to ensure productivity and compliance Lead the airport team to perform their work in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations. Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust between team members Coach and mentor team members in skill development, exceeding customer experience, and company culture behaviors, policie,s and procedures Establish and promote effective relationships with an external and internal customer base that fosters integrity, respect, and dignity Access operational environment and conditions to ensure it’s well-maintained through daily and weekly audits Checks IDs on all personnel who have access to cargo and Sthe IDA area. Ensures cargo accepted for All Cargo Flights is checked according to TSA regulations (ACISP). Completes reports as required for TSA AUDITS Checks seals and opens trucks, takes pictures of all High-Value Shipments, Informs CCTV of all High-Value Shipments' arrival. All security officers may also perform checkpoint screening functions such as: Using the Walk Through or Handheld Metal Detectors Using an X-ray scanner Must challenge all MDAD Badge holders Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent Must have a Security D License issued by the State of Florida SKILL and/or ABILITIES Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment The ability to work and communicate with all levels of Operations and management. Should possess a work style and conduct that is approachable and hospitable, while motivated to achieve results.
