About The Position

The Security Investigator is responsible for ensuring guest safety and providing excellent service throughout the property. This role involves conducting internal investigations, maintaining evidence, and responding to emergencies while adhering to company standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form.
• Understand and comply with all company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Able to obtain required work cards.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Complete property academy, as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service while maintaining safety throughout the property.
• Conduct internal investigations of allegations of misconduct by staff, guests, and contractors.
• Secure and maintain all evidence in accordance with policy and local rules of evidence.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
• Answer guest questions reflecting an understanding of the department and property.
• Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Escalate emergency situations to Supervisor, Assistant Director, and Director as needed.
