This position is located within the IT Department of 365 Retail Markets, and reports to the Senior Manager of IT and Security. We are seeking a motivated Cyber Security Intern to support our cybersecurity team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and protocols.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and report findings.
- Help ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
- Participate in security awareness training programs.
- Contribute to the development of security documentation and policies.
