The Security Intelligence Analyst II at Cox Enterprises is responsible for intelligence collection and analysis to support enterprise-wide security operations. This role involves monitoring global events, conducting research on potential threats, and providing actionable intelligence to key stakeholders. The analyst will work collaboratively with various teams to enhance security measures and ensure the safety of company personnel and operations.

  • Demonstrate experience in intelligence collection and analysis, with a solid understanding of intelligence platforms and IT systems, applications, and tools.
  • Support data analytics for risk calculations across various business units.
  • Identify and analyze relevant risks and vulnerabilities, producing actionable intelligence products in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research using open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and deep/dark web sources to identify potential threats.
  • Monitor global events and operations that may impact international travel and corporate events, providing timely reports.
  • Provide ad-hoc intelligence analysis support to Executive Protection personnel and other key stakeholders.
  • Correlate intelligence findings into concise summaries for internal teams and executive leadership.
  • Prepare and assist with requests for open-source analytic support.
  • Participate in investigative support, after-action reviews, and information sharing.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and systems to support and enhance the organizational mission.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science with 2 years of related experience in public or private sector security.
  • Alternatively, a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of related field experience.
  • Experience monitoring multiple platforms across diverse business lines for potential impacts.
  • Functional knowledge of mass notification tools.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive research and analysis using multiple unclassified sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to conduct briefings and present clear conclusions.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with intelligence platforms and information technology systems.
  • Adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
