About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Security Technician to support the installation of Life Safety and Security systems across commercial and institutional environments. This role plays a critical part in project success by performing hands-on installation work, coordinating with project leadership, and ensuring systems are installed safely, correctly, and to industry standards. How You’ll Contribute Install Security systems in accordance with project plans, blueprints, and electrical layouts Perform construction rough-ins, wire pulling, device mounting, and basic patching and painting Mount and terminate control panels, sensors, door/window contacts, and video cameras Feed and route cabling through walls, ceilings, roof spaces, and access points Coordinate daily tasks with the Lead Technician or Foreman to ensure project milestones are met Perform project preparation and maintain clean, organized work areas Follow all workplace safety standards, regulations, and best practices Use hand and power tools such as drills, meters, cutters, saws, and screwdrivers Work Schedule Schedule may vary. Requirements

  • 0–2+ years of experience in construction and/or low-voltage installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California Driver’s License with proof of auto insurance
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards
  • Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, speak, and drive for extended periods (2+ hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift, move, and install items weighing 50+ pounds
  • Occasional work at extreme heights and in confined spaces
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
  • Job sites include construction sites, commercial buildings, high-rise facilities, and hospitals (with potential patient contact)

Responsibilities
