About The Position

The Security Officer at Alstom is responsible for protecting the company's facilities, grounds, and equipment, ensuring the safety of occupants, contractors, customers, and visitors. This role involves patrolling various locations, enforcing regulations, and responding to directives from the Road Foreman of Engines. The position requires physical fitness to conduct patrols and manage equipment effectively.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Capability to climb into and out of rail and motor vehicles.
• Physical fitness to carry traffic cones, barricades, and other equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an 'On Track Safety Course'.
• Training in first aid, defensive driving, lock out/tag out, and fire extinguishers.

Responsibilities

• Protect all River LINE buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Enforce rules and regulations governing the facilities in a professional manner.
• Patrol remote locations as needed, including the Haines MOW Yard and Burlington Storage Siding.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot and motorized patrol rounds at designated facilities.
• Carry out orders given by the Road Foreman of Engines.
