About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will be trained in managing individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, with a focus on mitigating and preventing criminal behavior while ensuring the safety of premises and personnel. This role involves monitoring access points, reporting incidents, and building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CLEET licensed as an unarmed/armed security guard
• Strong conflict management skills
• CPR certification, First Aid, and self-defense training are advantageous
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills; familiarity with report writing
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, making immediate decisions.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of security experience (Preferred)
• Shift availability for Night Shift, Overnight Shift, and Day Shift (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring access points, and investigating accidents.
• Submit complete and detailed reports as required, recording observations, information, and occurrences throughout the shift.
• Follow procedures specific to each location, building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors.
• Monitor visitors as required by the facility, such as logging visits with a signature, searching bags for dangerous items/contraband, or asking them to walk through a metal detector.
• Remain aware of shift and facility assignments, understanding possible schedule changes are sometimes necessary.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety.
