SUMMARY: Monitor the operation of the fire alarm and camera network required in the Post 1 security room. Ensure building rounds, alarm responses and all other duties are completed promptly and accurately. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete all aspects of managing the security Post 1 operation. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times. Maintain rules & regulations of the building. All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Good communication, leadership and organizational skills. HS Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have access to reliable transportation. This position requires a New York State Security License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping, and possible heavy lifting, including both outdoor and indoor settings. This position may consist of confrontational occurrences.
