Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points as needed. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-first mindset. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors and deliveries per site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
