About The Position

We are seeking a part-time overnight security guard for our Hotel. The primary focus of the Security Agent is to “observe and report”. The Security Agent is tasked with varied duties and responsibilities that are necessary to provide and maintain a secure environment for guests, employees and hotel property & assets.

Requirements

Ability to commute/relocate: Delray Beach, FL 33444: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Security: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Approach all encounters with guest and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
Implement standard operating procedures to cover emergencies such as fires, threats, evacuation of building, guest and employee safety (injuries), etc.
Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations (including but not limited to Bag Checks, Key Inventory, Package Pass, Lifting and other safety procedures, etc.)
Complete incident reports; which may include conducting general investigations, photographs and collecting statements to complete the reports properly
Communicate shift information (pre/post shift and throughout the shift) to fellow Security Agents, Supervisor and Department Head
Monitor employee and guest activities for safety and loss prevention (video camera)
Complete Security Log throughout the shift
Patrol the property including: Parking Lots, hotel Public Areas, Guest Floors, Emergency Stairs/Towers and Exits, Front and Back-of-the-House Areas
Secure all areas after operating hours: Laundry, Lounge and Restaurant, etc.
Report all suspicious activity, damages to property, injuries and unsafe conditions
