Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience - retail, event, or facility, preferred
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Willingness to travel between nearby locations when needed
- A positive, helpful attitude — you’re the first and last impression for many guests
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent) if required by your state
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity
- Monitor entrances, exits, and facility access to ensure only authorized personnel and customers are on-site
- Enforce all security protocols, company policies, and state cannabis compliance requirements
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and helping staff and patients feel at ease
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities
- Travel between store locations as needed for support and coverage
