As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations by observing activity, documenting findings, and communicating clearly with site teams, drivers, and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including docks, yard areas, parking areas, and building perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points for employees, contractors, drivers, and vendors, verifying authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
- Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incident details, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel, site contacts, and/or Allied Universal supervision.
