About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Has responsibility for deterring criminal behavior through his or her visibility and observance of campus grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to all Company policies and procedures and operates at all times within state and federal statutes and regulations and within standards of accreditation. Maintains and monitors interior and exterior campus grounds as designated. Maintains campus safety by preventing any student or guest infractions. Patrols interior of facility and ensures that all rooms are locked when not in use. Patrols exterior campus area, including parking lots and peripheral area. Maintains daily security equipment and logs. Identifies and investigates campus maintenance needs, and submits appropriate work orders, as assigned. Completes any incident reports as necessary. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Maintains professional and effective working relationships with all other Campus personnel. Conducts his or her professional and personal life in a fashion that fosters a positive impression of the Campus and the Company. Performs the job on site when required. Remote work is appropriate when onsite work is not required. Subject to change if superseded by Human Resource policy regarding remote work.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Some experience in security or loss prevention preferred.
