About The Position

The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring the building to ensure the safety and protection for the employees, clients and property. Hours will be Monday- Wednesday 5:00pm-8:30pm & alternating Saturday's 5:00am-9:00am. Provide support to the day shift security guard as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent observational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the facility and property.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Security guard training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the front lobby area, and parking lot, for suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
• Investigates and communicates to leadership all suspicious activity on the property.
• Monitors all clients that enter and exit our facility.
• Contacts 911 when appropriate and as situations escalate to a higher level.
• Directs any person exhibiting inappropriate behavior to exit our property.
• Appropriate security dress attire is required.
• Completes an investigation report form for any and all incidents that occur on our property.
• Other duties as assigned
