About The Position

Security Officer Security Officer needed to adhere to security operating procedures (SOP) and assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club. Security Officer must work independently, as part of a team and possess extraordinary customer relations as a Gate House Officer. The desired candidate should possess previous experience, have a satisfactory driving record and be capable of conducting vehicle patrols/foot patrols if necessary. Responsibilities include: Communicating with residents, members, staff, security personnel and management Provide courteous, respectful and pleasant interactions Foot patrols Prepare reports on daily shift activity Accurately relay pertinent information to Supervisor, Director of Security, and the General Manager Handle emergency response in accordance with established procedures Document and report incidents and maintenance matters

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Satisfactory driving record (required to operate company-owned vehicle)
• Professional Demeanor and Appearance
• High Level of Integrity
• Strong Work Ethic
• Attention to detail
• CCTV and Access control experience
• Ability to work independently and with other security team members
• Prior experience required - (security, military or law enforcement)
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts and assist with call-out or Co-worker vacation
