Requirements

• Prior experience as a security guard or similar role
• A valid security officer diploma or certification
• Familiarity with emergency equipment and detection systems
• Strong understanding of public safety protocols
• Sharp attention to detail and solid surveillance skills
• A calm, confident, and professional demeanor
• High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Keep our property and people safe with a proactive and professional presence
• Patrol the museum and its perimeter, monitoring for any unusual activity
• Respond quickly and lawfully to incidents and emergencies
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access points
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate logs
• Perform First Aid or CPR when needed
• Be a friendly and reassuring face for our guests
• Support other museum needs as assigned
