Security Guard (Swing Shift)
About The Position
Well Care Group is hiring Security Guard, you may be expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions: Be able to work overtime and on various shifts as needed; including weekends and holidays. Be able to maintain accurate records Effectively comprehend numerous policies, procedures, and concepts in order to respond appropriately to various situations Walk around the building Stand for long periods of time sometimes in excess of eight hours Job duties - Patrolling, monitoring, and inspecting facilities and building areas for any irregular and unauthorized activities or unsafe conditions. - Responsible for monitoring entry and exit points to ensure building security, which includes responding to reports of fire, acts of vandalism, investigates theft, and any other unauthorized or irregular activity. - Develops or modifies work plans, methods, and procedures, determines work priorities, and develops work schedules to provide adequate staff coverage. - Oversees work in-progress to ensure quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of staff members. - Trains employees in the day-to-day procedures and mastery of individual knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to completing work related tasks. - Implements safety standards, ensures compliance, and prepares work records and reports. - Assigns and distributes work, reviews work for accuracy and completeness, and assists employees with difficult and/or unusual assignments. - Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determines appropriate solutions. - Documents situations which may be cause for disciplinary action and provides this information to the supervisor. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
