About The Position

Responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times. Maintains a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed Maintains up to date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county Answers the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times Responds to all guest’s requests in an expeditious manner

Requirements

Two years related experience and/or training
Possess excellent verbal and people skills
The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Valid driver’s license.
CPR certification required.
Ability to follow established security policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Strong attention to detail in monitoring hotel assets and documenting activities.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in security or related field is preferred.
Security certification is preferred.
