Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Facility Services team as a Security Guard that is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. Responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds. This full-time position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Security Guard: Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property. Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls. Assist with appropriate snow shoveling as needed. Got what it takes to shine in this role? Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. One-year experience in security preferred or appropriate building knowledge. Requirements
