About The Position

The Security Guard performs assigned duties under the guidance of the Facilities Manager. As a Security Guard they will perform a variety of duties relating to the security of the facility during the shift. They will also maintain effective interaction with the public and hospital personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years experience in customer service or conflict resolution.
• California Driver's License required.
• State of California Guard Card required or must be obtained within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CCTV and security systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds appropriately to security codes and contact outside Emergency Personnel when appropriate.
• Answer alarms/calls and investigate disturbances.
• Monitors entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons during the night shift to guard and maintain security of premises.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors.
• Parking enforcement as necessary.
