About The Position
Security Guard – 2nd shift Boxzooka is a cutting edge, technology driven, retail ecommerce solutions provider specializing in international sales technology and order fulfillment with our flagship facility located in Middletown, PA. As we continue to grow, so does our demand for hardworking, dependable people to join our team. We are currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the security of people and/or property. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, assisting clients, customers, and visitors to and on site, enforcing site regulations, reporting safety hazards and prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, assisting with traffic control, etc. Mandatory overtime occasionally to include earlier start time, later end time, weekends and holidays. Wed-Saturday PM
Requirements
- Previous experience as a security officer required
- Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Nice To Haves
- Great if worked in warehouse environment previously
- Great if have law enforcement or military background.
Responsibilities
- Patrols building interior / exterior and surrounding property
- Protects property and staff by maintaining safe and secure surroundings
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and admits appropriate personnel and/or guests
- Conducts investigations and prepares accurate and complete written reports
- Responds to all emergency situations
- Maintains confidentiality of security information
- Ensures security of company assets
- Monitors surveillance equipment
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
