Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a busy retail distribution location. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize technology such as alarm panels and access control systems, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment that reflects our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a professional manner at the front desk of a retail distribution center location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor and/or employee activity as required by site procedures.
Communicate with site personnel and/or management regarding security-related matters as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including contacting emergency services and following established protocols.
