As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a positive atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor utility infrastructure and report any unusual conditions or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal protocols.
Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with site personnel as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or unauthorized activities at the location.
