The Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program uses evidence-based approaches to teach effective coping skills that will help patients lead a drug-free lifestyle and minimize the chances of relapse. .Admission to the outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment program is based on presenting symptoms, willingness to follow program requirements and an apparent need for treatment. After an assessment, all patients receive an individualized treatment plan that meets their specific needs. Much more online: vallevistahospital.com Work Location: 4010 W. 86th Street, Suite D, Indianapolis 46268 Work Hours: Saturday 5:30 am - 10:30 am Job Summary: The Opioid Treatment Program security guard is a cross-trained position that is responsible for the overall security of the patients, employees, and clinic grounds, as well as for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering calls, and managing patient records. Patient record management will entail, but is not limited to, entering patient demographics and insurance data into electronic medical records, and documenting patient interactions. This position requires an individual to demonstrate an ability to easily establish rapport, maintain healthy boundaries, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. In addition, the OTP security guard may assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned by OTP Program Director.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working with patients in a healthcare environment, preferred.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Registered Security Officer, preferred.
