Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Amana, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conducting mobile patrols and responding to incidents to help maintain a secure environment. This driving post requires you to remain visible and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and caring for people. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on patrol.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as needed within the industrial environment.
