As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will respond to calls, document incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, damage, or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, directing foot traffic, and requesting additional resources as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management and/or wayfinding to support orderly operations.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
